Community-led startup incubator

Where students become founders.

Hack University Worldwide Initiative  ·  From Florida International University to the World

We're a community-led startup incubator built on one belief — the next generation of founders, engineers, and industry leaders shouldn't have to wait until after graduation to start building. Across 12 annual hackathons, 80+ technical events, hands-on mentorship, and real-world projects, we take builders from first idea to first launch. Open to every university, every major, and learners 16+ ages 13+. No prerequisites. No gatekeeping. Just build.

A initiative made possible by GDG at FIU, Code Crunch, ColorStack at FIU, CAHSI at FIU, Raspberry Pi Code Crunch, Swift Club at FIU, and Upsilon Phi Epsilon.

How the incubator works

From first idea to first launch

Every builder moves through the same path — build a prototype, get matched with mentors, demo your work, then launch it to the world.

1 · Build

Turn an idea into a working prototype during a hackathon cohort.

2 · Mentor

Get matched with industry mentors, judges, and peers.

3 · Demo

Show your work at demo day in front of the community.

4 · Launch

Ship it — prizes, recognition, and next steps toward a startup.
